:0 *squeal of delight* My name is Debbie Williams, but you guys can all call me Almightysponge or Edaniel, of Renardo DeLAQuintay, if we are to be formal, and I have just been accepted to the 1 year course that paves the way to creating a portfolio worthy of this animation course. I'm not yet good enouigh to make it into this course, I'm sad to say, I'm only seventeen, you see, and still on my way, but I'm going to be in this course, most definitely!! Anyway, I'm going to join this club, pleases, because I am filled with joy and excitement at finding out there is a deviantart club for this course and those interested in it! Thanks~!

So this is the thing I've heard about from inaliak years ago back when I was still in high school .

Hope it becomes more active this year with the new batch of first-year students (including myself), could use me a hub to keep in contact with others.

Seeing as this is related to the Algonquin college animation program and no one at the actual college ever gets back to me, I was hoping you get help me with something. I received in the mail the portfolio requirements and the test but they never sent the cover letter requirments. Could you by any chance tell me what I'm supposed to put on that thing?
Thanks a bunch.
:icontsand:
Hey,

Sorry for the late response, but we don't check this that often anymore lol.

From what I remember, the cover letter is your basic, how and why I should be in the program and what your expectations and plans are.
Don't quote me on it though.

Try sending an email to Linda Cooke (media coordinator) cookel@algonquincollege.com

Or Paul West (animation coordinator)
westp@algonquincollege.com

When I did it you just had to put a basic overview of your artistic experience and your interest in the program really. I guess they just want to get a feel for who you are, though I have no idea why really.

Hello Guys, I would like to ask you guys a question. In term of style of animation designs what do you guys see ? Do we have a bit of freedom in are style ? I am a big fan of disney design and videogame realistic designs.
